CVQO awareness evening – Monday 25 April 2022

CVQO are very pleased to announce that we will be running an awareness evening on Monday 25 April 2022. This will be held at the Royal Russell School in Croydon and is aimed at anyone involved in uniformed youth groups in the London and Surrey area.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to come and hear about our vocational qualifications for young people and adult volunteers – and how they can be embedded into your existing training programmes.

We’ll be joined by some special guests, including Professor Simon Denny and former CVQO Westminster Award finalist Phoebe Carlile.

Approximate timings are provided below:

1915 hours – arrivals

1930 hours – all seated in the theatre

  • Welcome from Phoebe Carlile, an Adult Leader and former St John Ambulance Cadet and a CVQO Learner
  • Introduction and presentation by Professor Simon Denny, author of the Northampton Report into the social impact of cadets and the benefits of the qualifications provided by CVQO

1950 hours        

  • CVQO presentation starts followed by registration for those young people who wish to
  • There will also be an opportunity to find out about qualifications that adult leaders can achieve through CVQO

2030 hours – Departures
