CVQO learners taking part in Employability Skills Workshops will now be able to translate their experience into an iDEA digital badge as part of a new and exciting partnership with iDEA (Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award).
Skills including career exploration, swot analysis, employability skills, personal development and interview skills are all linked and will show on a person’s iDEA Record of Achievement after they have redeemed the badge.
CVQO’s Employability Skills Workshops have been running as successful and popular online sessions since March 2020 and we are so pleased to be able to offer a way to accredit that experience with something tangible.
Polly Morgan, Programme Director at iDEA said: “iDEA is delighted to partner with CVQO on its programme to help young people develop new work skills. iDEA is rewarding learners who participate in the CVQO Employability Skills Workshop with an iDEA Bronze level digital badge in recognition of the work skills training and development provided by the CVQO workshops.”
Steve Taylor, from CVQO said: “The recognition by iDEA of the value of our Employability Skills Workshops with the award of the iDEA Bronze level badge is excellent news for all our learners and we are delighted to be working so closely with them. It further validates the importance of personal development and at a critical time in the transition period of young people into employment. The iDEA Bronze level badge also supports our belief that CVQO learners are part an exciting and talented pool of employees that employers are looking to recruit.”
