CVQO awarded Princess Royal Training Award

We’re delighted to announce that CVQO has been awarded a prestigious Princess Royal Training Award by the Princess Royal and City & Guilds Group!

CVQO was nominated in April based on the delivery of our qualifications to volunteer adults. In June we had an intensive site visit by the award committee members, with the results being presented to The Princess Royal herself.

The Princess Royal makes the final decision who is to be rewarded and today, on her birthday, we have received confirmation that CVQO has achieved the award, along with just 43 other organisations across the UK.

Further details about the award and the other recipients can be found at the following website: https://www.princessroyaltrainingawards.com/2019-recipients/

About the Princess Royal Training Awards

The Princess Royal Training Awards is an honour for UK employers that have created lasting impact by successfully linking their skills development needs to business performance.

48 recipients, from a wide range of sectors, have achieved the Princess Royal Training Awards standard of excellence in training, in 2019. The announcement follows the adjudication of the Princess Royal Training Awards Commission, composed of seven leading figures in the business and learning & development community and HRH The Princess Royal, who is the President of the City & Guilds Group.

Chris Jones, Group Chief Executive, said: “Once again, we have seen a remarkable range of successful applications for the Princess Royal Training Awards standard. From the public sector to global corporates and from creating talent pipelines to developing individual resilience, all evidencing the very real impact investing in upskilling staff delivers. Congratulations to all those organisations who have achieved the required standard of excellence – you are an inspiration to us all!”
